So, who are lottypottypots?

Well, during the rare hours spent away from the studio, Lotty is Charlotte Christoffersen and Potty is Mel Condon, and we first met when we were students of Clover Lee, a finalist of the second series of Channel Four’s Great Pottery Throw Down. After much support from Clover and many hours of learning the technical side of ceramic production, we set up our studio in an old coach house in Abbeville Village in South London.

Lotty’s hand-thrown homeware ceramics is all about pleasing, modern, “Scandi” lines and Potty is definitely the one to go to for slightly quirky, fun and colourful hand-thrown and hand-built ceramics.

We love welcoming budding potters to learn how to throw on the wheel or hand-build. More experienced potters are welcome to spend time in the studio working under their own steam.

Psst!  Our favourite part of the day is when people drop in for a coffee (served in a hand-thrown mug, of course) and a chat and to browse and buy our pottery!
